Advertiser Staff

A reception for winners of an art contest for city workers and their family members is set for tonight at Honolulu Hale.

The winners for the second annual event were announced today, with the $300 grand prize going to Bryson Espression for his drawing called, "The Morning Journey."

The winning entries, along with 115 other paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures and crafts, will be on display at Honolulu Hale through July 12. The mayor will hand out awards and cash prizes for winners at 6:30 p.m. today.

"The artistic talents of city employees and their families are exemplified in this exhibit," Hannemann said, in a news release.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
