Big Island paving project to delay Hualalai traffic

Motorists should expect 15-minute to 30-minute delays on Hualalai Road when the Department of Public Works continues repaving work today and Friday.Resurfacing begins 100 yards below the intersection of Hualalai Road and Kuakini Highway and ends near the Regency hotel.
Personnel and equipment will be working in the area from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today and tomorrow. Only one lane will be open to motorists. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route during this time.
