AT&T in Hawaii extends hours for iPhone sales

AT&T Inc. announced today that it will extend store hours to 10 p.m. tomorrow for the release of the highly anticipated iPhone.

The company will being selling the iPhone at its 1,800 company-owned stores throughout the country — including Hawai'i — starting at 6 p.m. local time.

(Stores will be closed from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to prepare for sales.)

There are two versions available: $499 for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB model. Both prices require a 2-year service agreement, according to AT&T.

There will be a limit of one iPhone per customer.
