Permitted purchase of fireworks starts after midnight

Permits required for the purchase of fireworks for July 4 play will be sold on O'ahu only at satellite city hall outlets during normal business hours through Tuesday.Permits cost $25 each and multiple permits may be purchased.
Fireworks will go on sale tomorrow at 12:01 a.m. and may be purchased until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 4. Fireworks play time on O'ahu is between 1 and 9 p.m. on July 4.
The use of aerial fireworks is prohibited without a special display permit.
For those who prefer watching, Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig announced the following schedule of permitted displays:
