Woman questioned in Waialua stabbing probe

A 34-year-old Whitmore Village woman arrested on an outstanding $2,500 warrant by Wahiawa Crime Reduction Unit officers yesterday was questioned about the stabbing of a man last week in Waialua.

The woman was booked for attempted murder and released today pending further investigation.

She was arrested on Kealohanui and Pu'uiki streets in Waialua yesterday at 11:50 a.m.

The man, 32, was stabbed multiple times and left in an isolated area in Waialua. A man walking his dogs was led to the victim last Friday at 6:30 a.m. by one of his dogs.

The victim, who was severely beaten as well as stabbed, is recovering from injuries. Police are investigating the case as an attempted murder.
