OHA grant to help Papakolea organizations

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has given a $15,000 grant to the Papakolea Community Development Corp.The "community capacity building grant" will support the development of consolidated business plans for two nonprofit groups in the Papakolea Hawaiian homestead community: Papakolea Community Development Corp. and Kula no na Po'e Hawaii.
The money will also sponsor development of strategic plans for three other community groups: Papakolea Community Association, Kalawahine Streamside and Kewalo Hawaiian Homes Community Association.
