Contemporary Museum holds ArtSpree July 14

The Contemporary Museum's annual free family event ArtSpree 2007 will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 14.The event is for folks of all ages, with continuous art-related activities, demonstrations and performances of dance, music and art by local artists.
In this year's lineup are: The Amazing TJ of Cirque Hawaii, Capoeira Besouro Hawaii, and Kealoha and Youth Speaks Hawaii; organized in association with Ong King Art Center.
Hear musical performances in the galleries by Rising Melody, The Dr. Boogie Nights Ensemble and Hope Mayo Trio. Chill on the lawn with KTUH's DJ Albert and DJ BBQ's musical mix. Create abstract musical sculptures, colorful monoprints, digitally morphed self-portraits, paper birds, dry-hard clay sculptures and more, with local artists.
Stretch your imagination with Yoga for Kids, presented in partnership with lululemon athletica. Don't miss The Mermaids dazzle in the pool.
Free Public Parking and drop-off is permitted only at Punahou School where there will be continuous free shuttle service throughout the day. Visitors can enter Punahou School from the Main Gate, located at the corner of Wilder Avenue and Punahou Street.
Additional note: Public parking and drop-off is prohibited at the museum for ArtSpree. Parking along the streets of the surrounding neighborhood is also not permitted.
