Hiker airlifted from mountain above Crouching Lion

A hiker who suffered from dehydration was airlifted from the mountain above Crouching Lion this afternoon and taken to Swanzy Beach Park in stable condition.The 53-year-old man was hiking with two others, who made their way down from the mountain on their own, said Honolulu Fire Capt. James Todd.
Firefighters responded to the call of a hiker in distress at 1:43 p.m., Todd said.
