ASIA TICKETS JULY 7

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. July 7 for the Aug. 11 concert by Asia, the MTV fave/supergroup from the 1980s.

The band's current tour is titled "Heat of the Moment," after one of its hit songs.

Tickets — $38.50 and $46.50 — will be available at Ticketmaster outlets and the Blaisdell box office. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Blaisdell Arena; doors open at 7 p.m. (877) 750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com

THUNDER ROLLING THIS WAY

"Thunder From Down Under," the adult male revue from Australia via Las Vegas, will be staged at 9 p.m. June 26-29 at the Hawaiian Hut, Ala Moana Hotel.

ELVIS STATUE AT BLAISDELL

All are invited to the public unveiling of the life-size bronze statue of Elvis Presley, 10 a.m. July 26 at the Blaisdell Center. Organizers suggest folks get there by 9:30 a.m.

Cable channel TV Land commissioned the statue, celebrating the landmark 1973 TV concert "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii," which was beamed around the world. A limited number of free "Aloha From Hawaii" DVDs will be distributed at the unveiling.
