Opera benefit scheduled for tonight at Kahala Nui

HONOLULU - Kahala Nui, the senior living community in Waialae Kahala, will host a benefit for the Hawaii Opera Theatre (HOT), "Great American Voices," from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight.The event will also feature a special tour of Kahala Nui's facilities, dinner by Chef Larry Trott, music on the lawn, and prize drawings.
The event will be held on Kahala Nui's Great Lawn at 4389 Malia Street.
Live entertainment will be provided by members of HOT's Opera Studio:Amy Healey, Jacqueline Quirk, Erik Haines, and Leslie Tennent as well as cast members from the upcoming production of "South Pacific"
The public is invited and all proceeds will benefit the Hawaii Opera Theatre
