Kaukonahua Road at Farrington reopened after brushfire doused

Police have re-opened Kaukonahua Road at Farrington Highway after closing it for about 30 minutes because of a brush fire.The blaze started about 9:30 p.m., and police closed the roadway about 10 p.m. It was reopened about 10:20 p.m.
Fire officials said the brushfire was quickly contained.
It threatened no structures.
