Best surf on eastern shores until swell arrives Sunday

Advertiser Staff

Trade winds have raised surf to 4 feet to 7 feet along eastern shores through today, the National Weather Service said.

Northern shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet, while west shores will see surf 1 foot to 3 feet and southern shores will see surf 1 foot to 2 feet.

A moderate northwest swell is expected Sunday. A bigger west-northwest swell is expected late Monday into Tuesday, bringing near advisory-level surf heights for the north- and west-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.
