FRESNO, Calif. -- Kevin Bell's pull up jumper with 0.6 seconds left tonight lifted Fresno State to a 78-77 victory over Boise State.

With Boise State leading 77-76, Anthony Thomas missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 6.8 seconds left. Bell grabbed the long rebound and dribbled to just inside the free-throw line before taking the shot.

Boise State (16-12, 8-7) led 77-70 with less than 4 minutes remaining before Hosley and Bell fueled Fresno State's late surge with four points apiece.

Matt Nelson had 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Broncos, including a layup with 4:59 left that turned out to be Boise State's final points of the contest. Reggie Nelson added 19 points and Eric Lane had 17.
