Michigan edges Hawaii in tennis

Despite winning at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, the University of Hawai'i men's team fell to No. 22 Michigan, 4-3, today at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort.

UHıs Andreas Weber beat Michigan's Brian Hung, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (6) and Rainbow Warrior teammate Sascha Heinemann edged Matko Maravic, 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (5).

Michigan (8-2) won all three doubles matches for the doubles point that proved to be the difference in edging No. 75 UH (2-5).
