Kaua'i County's anti-drug office, using its Healing Our Island Community Fund, is offering grants of up to $2,500 for programs to address drug abuse on the island.

The programs can include education, drug-abuse prevention, community development, recreational activities and more.

Applications are available at the county's anti-drug office in the Lihu'e Civic Center.

Application deadline is March 28.

The grant program gives preference to projects that are collaborative efforts between two or more community groups.
