Makiki man charged in alleged theft from employer

A 29-year-old Makiki man was charged Thursday for allegedly stealing money from his employer.

Afa Tuialii of a Pensacola Street address allegedly made numerous unauthorized transfers of Waikiki Sand Villa Hotel funds into his personal account. He was arrested Tuesday and booked for first-degree theft.

Bail for Tuialii is $125,000.
