Small fire today at Kane'ohe bank under investigation

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a small fire that was extinguished this morning inside the Bank of Hawaii building in Kane'ohe.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters responded to a 6:30 a.m. report of a fire at the bank, near the intersection of William Henry Road and Kamehameha Highway.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and are now investigating the incident. Officials said it appears the fire has caused no severe damage.

Lanes in both directions near the intersection of William Henry Road and Kamehameha Highway are now open to traffic. At least one lane had been shut for about an hour.
