The victim reported that an unknown local male forced his way onto his property on Kalaniana'ole Avenue, ripped a gate off its hinges and hit the victim in the face, knocking him unconscious. A witness saw a red car and a white pickup truck with a pipe rack in the area shortly after the attack.

An unknown man came to the victim's assistance but left the area before police were able to speak to him about anything he may have witnessed.
