Ocean Pointe pre-K opens

Seagull Schools will hold a grand opening for its Ocean Pointe campus tomorrow.
About 90 students are now attending the pre-kindergarten school for children 2 to 5. Maximum enrollment will be 180, Seagull executive director Chuck Larson said.
There is a wait list, but interested parents are asked to call 689-6021.
Five "naturally ventilated" buildings sit on the 1.25-acre site donated by Ocean Pointe developer Haseko, which also donated $200,000 toward construction. The Kaimele Place site is next to the new Keone'ula Elementary School.
The campus is Seagull's sixth pre-K location in Hawai'i.
