UH-Wisconsin football matchup hopes vanish

One of the best opportunities for the University of Hawai'i to add a Top 10 team to its 2007 football schedule faded with the announcement that Wisconsin will play Northern Illinois on Oct. 20.That date is one of three UH has open in its attempt to fill a 13-game schedule.
UH and Wisconsin had discussed playing a game in Honolulu earlier. Recently, there had been talks about UH playing in Madison on Oct. 20, officials said.
