TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Gladiator" (2000), 6 p.m., TNT. Here's a fresh chance to see this Oscar-winner, mixing the epic filmmaking of director Ridley Scott and the intensity of Russell Crowe.

OF NOTE

"The Robber Bride," 6 and 8 p.m., Oxygen. This new movie — based on a novel by "Handmaid's Tale" author Margaret Atwood — toys with viewers. It builds a mystery around a fascinating character then fails to have a satisfying conclusion. Still, it does give us a great actress in a multilayered role. Mary-Louise Parker is brilliant as the many-sided Zenia.

"Building a Dream: The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy," 7 p.m., ABC. If you missed this special on Monday, here's a quick rerun. It looks at the school Oprah Winfrey created for girls in South Africa.

"NCIS," 7 p.m., CBS. Two Korean women, married to Marines, have been killed and a third one is missing.

"Sacrifices of the Heart," 7 and 9 p.m., Hallmark. Patti Davis, whose father (Ronald Reagan) suffered from Alzheimer's, wrote this story about the disease. Melissa Gilbert and Ken Howard star.

"Head of State" (2003), 8 p.m., ABC. Chris Rock co-wrote, directed and starred in this comedy, playing a low-level politician who's suddenly running for president.

"Cold Case," 8 p.m., CBS. Four brothers have been killed since 1999 and only one remains alive. Lilly decided to reopen each case.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 8 p.m., NBC. A mob lawyer and his family were brutally attacked. His daughter, at her boyfriend's place, appears to be lost in a haze of drugs and alcohol and recalls nothing. As her dad starts to recover, however, he has a different story.

"Designer to the Stars: Kari Whitman" debut, 8 and 8:30 p.m., WE. Kari Whitman, 42, is a former actress and Playboy playmate who does interior design. This is a design show and a reality show.
