Genealogy session part of festivities at Plantation Days

Dig into your roots at a genealogy workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Hawaii's Plantation Village in Waipahu.

Representatives from Chinese, Portuguese and Puerto Rican, Hawaiian, Japanese, Filipino, Okinawan, Korean and other genealogical societies will be available to assist.

The event, which also features keiki activities and cultural demonstrations, is part of the village's ongoing Relive the Plantation Days series of festivals.

Admission is free. The village is at 94-695 Waipahu St. 677-0110.
