Surf might pick up by middle of the week

Advertiser Staff

Small surf is expected along most O'ahu coastlines today.

Surf along north-facing shores is expected to reach 5 to 8 feet.

Waves should reach 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores, 3 to 4 feet along west-facing shores, and 3 feet or less along south-facing shores.

The surf is expected to stay below advisory levels through at least Friday.

Starting Tuesday and running into Wednesday, O'ahu's north and west shores will see slightly larger surf as a series of west-northwest swells arrive.
