Free testing for hepatitis, AIDS offered Friday

Free testing for hepatitis B and AIDS will be offered from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at 'A'ala Park as part of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The testing for AIDS and hepatitis is aimed largely at immigrants, but other people are welcome as well. Participants may be male or female, and must be adults.

The event will also feature free prizes, food for 250 people, entertainment and special guests.

To volunteer, please call Debbie Bigham, hepatitis testing and events director at Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, 233-8049.
