Nanakuli man held for 5 warrants, investigation

A 20-year-old Nanakuli man is being held on five outstanding warrants totaling over $2,200 in an investigation involving a firearm, ammunition and drugs.

The man was arrested following a traffic stop early yesterday at Kalakaua Avenue and South King Street. A police officer said he saw the man with an ammunition pouch and a firearm on the backseat floor of the vehichle.

In addition to the warrants, two firearm and drug counts, the man was also booked for driving without a license. The arrest occurred at 12:10 a.m.

A second man, 21, who was a passenger in the car, was booked on drug counts.
