Threatening with a knife reported in Waikiki

A 19-year-old man was arrested in Waikiki late last night after he allegedly threatened a 16-year-old girl with a switchblade knife.The girl told police the man, whom she described as intoxicated, was trying to pick her up.
She said she tried to ignore the man, and when she refused to shake his hand, the man pulled a knife from his pocket, opened it and uttered a profanity at her.
Police were called to the area and arrested the man on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
