UH's Lojeski named to All-WAC basketball 2nd team

University of Hawai'i guard Matt Lojeski was named to the All-Western Athletic Conference men's basketball second team today, the conference office announced."He would have been first team if they had seen him last night," UH coach Riley Wallace said of the senior's 35-point performance in the 92-75 victory over Boise State.
Lojeski was the only Rainbow Warrior named to the conference
all-star team, though center Ahmet Gueye was an all-defensive team selection.
The 'Bows left today for the WAC Tournament in Las Cruces, N.M., where 18-12 UH will play Utah State Thursday.
Conference champion Nevada had the player of the year, Nick
Fazekas, and the coach of the year, Mark Fox.
