UH's Smith named to WAC women's basketball team

University of Hawai'i forward Tanya Smith was named to the All-Western Athletic Conference women's basketball team today, the conference office announced.Center Brittany Grice was selected to the all-defensive team for the second consecutive year.
Selections were based upon voting by the conference's coaches.
Louisiana Tech's Shan Moore was named player of the year and Boise State's Gordy Presnell the coach of the year.
