Kamehameha lane closures near Pearl Harbor

A right lane will be closed on Kamehameha Highway (out-bound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for bikeway and sidewalk construction.

Other projects around O'ahu:

Pipeline work on Nimitz Highway

Lanes will be closed on Nimitz Highway in both directions near Kukahi Street between 8:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. through Friday morning.

This project will identify inactive petroleum pipelines along Nimitz Highway between Nu'uanu Stream and Kapalama Canal, and drain any oil that may still be in them.

Pu'uloa project ongoing

Lanes will be closed in both directions on Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday, for traffic-signal and utility work, at the following locations:

  • Lanes closed at the Salt Lake Boulevard intersection for traffic signal and utility duct work.

  • Makai-bound right turn lane toward Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed for the placement of utility lines.

  • Shoulder lanes in both directions will be closed.

    Lanes will be closed along H-3

    There will be pavement resurfacing and striping work on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the following locations in Kane'ohe:

  • Lanes closed in both directions between the Halekou Interchange and Marine Corps Base Hawai'i through Friday.

  • Honolulu-bound on-ramp from Mokapu Boulevard will be closed on Wednesday. Motorists are advised to use the Kane'ohe Bay Drive and Kamehameha Highway on-ramps as alternate routes.

    Nighttime H-1 lanes closed in Liliha area

    Right lanes will be closed on the H-1 Freeway east-bound for tree trimming and roadside maintenance at these locations and times:

  • Right lane near the Liliha Street on-ramp from 9 p.m. Monday through 12 a.m. Tuesday. The Pali Highway off-ramp (Exit 21A East) will remain open.

  • Right lane near the Vineyard Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 20B East) to the 'A'ala Street overpass from 9 p.m. Tuesday through 12 a.m. Wednesday.

  • Pali Highway off-ramp (Exit 21A East) will be closed from 9 p.m Wednesday through 12 a.m. Thursday.

    Rolling lane-closure on H-2 Friday night

    There will be a rolling single-lane closure on the H-2 Freeway, Honolulu-bound from the Mehe'ula Parkway Overpass to the H-1 Freeway between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday for roadside drainage inspections.

    Nimitz-Ala Moana resurfacing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Fort Street to Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday morning, for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

    Farrington project continues in Waipahu

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway through Friday for pavement striping work at these times:

  • East-bound: 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

  • West-bound: 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

    A right lane will also be closed east-bound near the Leo'ole Street/Leoku Street intersection for bus-pullout construction work, and west-bound between Paiwa Street and Mokuola Street for the installation of a chain-link fence.

    Light pole work to slow traffic on Kamehameha Highway

    The right lane will be closed on Kamehameha Highway from Salt Lake Boulevard to the Moanalua Freeway on-ramps from 'Aiea Access Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow through Friday for the installation of light poles.

    Work continues near Crouching Lion

    Lanes will be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for sign installation and guardrail work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane.
