Grice will be 'game-time decision' for UH women

LAS CRUCES, N. M. — University of Hawai'i center Brittany Grice did not take part in practice yesterday but has not yet been ruled out for Wednesday's Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament opener, officials said.

Grice, who has been voted to the All-WAC defensive team for two consecutive seasons, is suffering what has been described as a lower left leg injury.

UH (15-13) opens with Fresno State (17-12) Wednesday at 9 a.m. Hawai'i time.

Acting head coach Pat Charity has said it will likely be a "game-time" decision whether Grice plays.
