Richard Alpert joins board of Bioponic Phytoceuticals

Bioponic Phytoceuticals Inc., a Kula, Maui-based developer of products for sale in the complementary alternative medicine and natural products markets, said Richard Alpert has joined its board of directors.Alpert, also known as Ram Dass, is well known for writing and co-writing books that include Be Here Now and Journey of Awakening. Alpert is a Maui resident who holds a doctorate at Stanford University, where he also served on the psychology faculty. He also taught at the University of California and at Harvard University, Bioponic Phytoceuticals said in a news release.
