Kauai's Bruce Irons ousted in Quiksilver Pro

Kauai's Bruce Irons was ousted today by Australian Joel Parkinson in the fourth round of the Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia.Irons was the only Hawai'i surfer remaining in the competition.
Yesterday, he eliminated fellow Hawai'i surfer, Pancho Sullivan.
Bruce's older brother, former three-time world champion Andy Irons, was ousted earlier in the second round.
The event is the first of 11 Association of Surfing Professionals World Championship Tour events that comprise the 2007 World Tour that will end in Hawai'i in December.
