Surf drops on northern shores

Advertiser Staff

The 10-foot surf enjoyed on the North Shore yesterday will be lower this morning, the National Weather Service said.

Today's forecast calls for surf 6 to 8 along northern shores and 3 to 5 feet along western shores.

Surf along eastern shores will be 1 to 3 feet and surf along south shores will be 2 to 4 feet.

A northwest swell is expected tomorrow and a north swell Friday will produce surf expected to be less than the 15 foot high surf advisory threshold for the north shore. The small south swell will continue through the weekend.
