Learn to cook macrobiotic at Green House March 17

Kathy Maddux, who trained and worked at the Kushi Institute, the locus of the macrobiotic movement, will give a macrobiotic cooking workshop at the Green House in Pauoa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 17.In "A Whole Foods Approach to Health and Well-being,"
participants will prepare and eat a St. Parick's Day "green"-inspired meal. The macrobiotic approach focuses on bringing balance to a person's physical and emotional condition by utilizing foods that are balanced energetically and nutritionally. A booklet of recipes will also be provided.
Fee: $25. Class size limited to 10.
