Pedestrian critically hurt in 'Aiea

A pedestrian was critically injured tonight when a pickup truck hit him in front of 98-174 Nahele St. in the Newtown subdivision above 'Aiea.A man, possibly in his 60s, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, where his condition was downgraded from serious to critical, police said.
The accident was reported at 7:03 p.m.
