Hip-hop star Mos Def to play Pipeline Cafe March 31

Multitasking hip-hop artist and actor Mos Def will return to Honolulu for a Pipeline Cafe concert on March 31.

Advance tickets, at $38 each, will go on sale March 12 at Dig Lifestyles, the cafe and at www.presaleticketsonline.com. Tickets at Pipeline Cafe on show date will be $45.

Doors for the show will open at 9 p.m. The show will be open to age 18 and older.

Mos Def's most recent CD was last year's "True Magic," which stalled at No. 77 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. His most recent turn on the big screen was in the 2006 Bruce Willis flop "16 Blocks."

Mos Def's was last in Honolulu for a show in February 2005 at Pipeline Cafe.
