Chubb Group insurance debuting ocean cargo policy

Hawai'i is one of 12 states where the Chubb Group of Insurance companies is debuting a new ocean cargo policy and Web site where customers can review their policies, submit claims and monitor shipping activities.Chubb said its new cargo policy is in an easy-to-read format that includes a summary declarations page and simplified rate schedule.
The policies will be expanded to the rest of the United States and Canada later this year, the insurer said in a news release. Chubb said the new Web site is available through its @chubb secure Internet page and can be accessed by agents, brokers and customers.
