The 55th annual Cherry Blossom Festival will host its Heritage Fair on Saturday at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i.

The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature food and craft booths, a mochi-pounding demonstration, a taiko performance by Taiko Center of the Pacific, and an appearance by the 55th Cherry Blossom queen contestants and the reigning 54th Cherry Blossom queen and court.

There will also be an anime costume contest at noon.

Admission is free.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is the oldest, continuously running ethnic festival in Hawai'i. It culminates with the Festival Ball on March 31 at the Sheraton Waikiki, where a new queen and court will be named.
