Advertiser Staff

The NASA Ames Research Center said they've agreed to explore collaborations with the state of Hawai'i in commercial space initiatives and other programs that support research, workforce development and education.

In the memorandum of understanding, to be signed today, the state and NASA will explore opportunities in support of the space agency's plans for manned flights to the moon and travel to Mars.

"This agreement with the state of Hawai'i is another exciting opportunity for NASA to work with a partner in support of the agency's exploration, science and aeronautics mission goals," S. Pete Worden, director of NASA Ames Research Center said in a news release.
