WAI'ALAE IKI
Book drive for Kalani library

Advertiser Staff

In an ongoing effort to fill shelves at Kalani High School's library, there will be a book drive at the Kahala Mall Barnes & Noble this weekend.

For every dollar spent, the store will donate a percentage to the school, and customers also can purchase books directly from the store.

The top five books the school wants to purchase are: "Life of Plants" for $22.50, "Plant Anatomy" for $59.95, "Cell Division & Genetics" for $8.99, "Cell: Evolution of the First Organism" for $35 and "Cells" for $25.

Since the book drive was announced in February, more than $850 in donations has been collected. For more information, call Anne Torige at 377-7744, ext. 235.
