Tagawa joins 'Beyond the Break' filming

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is filming three episodes of "Beyond the Break" on the North Shore.
The Hollywood actor who lives on Kaua'i recently finished the sequel to Disney Channel's "Johnny Tsunami" in New Zealand, playing a surfer grandpa in "Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board."
His previous films include "Memoirs of a Geisha," "Pearl Harbor," "Planet of the Apes" and "Mortal Kombat." He recently finished his first comedy feature, "Balls of Fury," a takeoff on Bruce Lee's "Fists of Fury" with ping-pong.
