Comments sought for Kaua'i bridge-widening project

Public comment is being sought for a proposed project to widen the Wailua cane haul bridge on Kaua'i in the north-bound direction along Kuhio Highway and for other improvements.Also known as the Plantation Bridge, the one-lane Wailua Cane Haul Bridge would be widened to two lanes for vehicle traffic and a pedestrian/bike path would be added. The widening would extend from Leho Drive to Kuamoo Road and scheduled to begin next year.
