UH-Hilo romps over Chicago State in baseball

Ryan Taiariol had three hits, including a two-run homer, and Michael Higa had three hits and two RBIs as Hawaii-Hilo beat Chicago State, 18-3, Thursday in a non-conference baseball game at Wong Stadium.

Clayton Uyechi allowed a run on three hits while striking out eight to earn the victory for the Vulcans (5-16).

Bryan Packard had two hits and an RBI for the Cougars (0-14).
