Small to moderate surf sticking around

Advertiser Staff

Northwest and north swells will peak this weekend without reaching advisory heights, the National Weather Service said.

Today's forecast calls for surf along northern shores to be 6 feet to 8 feet, west-facing shores to get surf 3 feet to 5 feet, east-facing shores will see surf 1 foot to 3 feet and surf along southern shores will be 2 feet to 4 feet.

A new small south swell will arrive Saturday and continue through Tuesday, the weather service said.
