Fairmont Orchid names Nagaoka director of group sales

Rick Nagaoka has been named director of group sales at The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii.Nagaoka took the job Feb. 26 and brings 15 years of Hawai'i hospitality experience to his new role. He oversees a five-person sales team as well as his own territory of southern California, Washington and Oregon.
Since 2002, he served as director of sales and marketing at Mauna Kea Resort (Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel).
Before that he worked at the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort, the Maui Prince Hotel, Makena Resort; and at other resort properties in Maui.
