HPU's 'Green Campus Project' opens today

Hawai'i Pacific University kicks off its Green Campus Project with a recycling drive and the screening of "An Inconvenient Truth" today at its downtown campus.The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. on upper Fort Street Mall.
The school's Proud To Be Pinoy Club helped organize the event as a way to provide and maintain HI-5¢ recycling bins in campus buildings.
In addition to the movie, the event will feature environmentally themed games and exhibits and three local Filipino entertainers. The event is free and open to the public.
