Singer/songwriter Cris Williamson brings her 30th anniversary tour to the Islands with special guest Teresa Trull. Williamson's "The Changer and the Changed" became one of the best-selling independent releases of all time and established what would become known as "women's music," which is created, performed and marketed specifically to women.

COMEDY: MARCH 23
Former Honolulan Paul Ogata (in 2006 named among the Top 10 Comedians by NBC), below, comes back to headline a night of stand-up schtick in "The Asian Kings of Comedy," with Edwin San Juan (B.E.T.), Shecky Wong (Showtime) and Kevin Shea ("Jimmy Kimmel Live"). Nothing is off limits for the four comedians from Los Angeles representing Japanese, Filipino, Chinese and Korean ethnicities.

After 25-plus years, 15-plus albums and a million live shows, the horn-based soul band Tower of Power, below, shows no signs of slowing down. And with the return of guitarist Bruce Conte, the show will have the audience reminiscing over hits such as "You're Still a Young Man," Bump City," "Down to the Night Club" and "You've Got to Funkifize."

Expect four days of fun at the Honolulu Family Festival, which includes carnival rides, food and entertainment for all ages. Last year's Centennial Festival in March attracted more than 60,000 residents and visitors despite the soggy weather. Shows this time include JUMP, The Ultimate Dog Show, featuring stunt canines; Watershow Productions' Pirates of the Caribbean High Dive Show; Backyard Circus and Family Puppet Parade. Proceeds from the festival will go toward the city's efforts to renew and repair Ala Moana Beach Park.
