Warning to drivers:

The Johnny Faerber 10K Run will take place on Sunday near and around Diamond Head.

About 300 runners are expected to participate in the race sponsored by the RRCA/Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club.

The race will start at 7 a.m. on Kalakaua Avenue, going up Diamond Head Road, around Kahala and back to Kapi'olani Park. The finish line will be at the park's 'ewa end on Kalakaua Avenue.

Interested runners can still register for the 6.2-mile race at packet pickups today and tomorrow. Cost is $25. Race-morning registration is $30.
