Hawai'i sent nine batters to the plate in a four-run seventh and Mark Rodrigues pitched seven scoreless innings of three-hit ball to down No. 24 Arizona, 4-0, tonight to even the non-conference series at 1 before 2,537 at Les Murakami Stadium, the largest turnout of the seaosn.

Rodrigues (5-1) had four strikeouts in his second-longest outing of the season for the Rainbows (15-7). Tyler Davis added two scoreless innings in a non-save situation.

Brad Mills (4-2) went 6-plus innings, allowing a run, five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts for the Wildcats (14-6)

The Rainbows broke the scoreless deadlock in the seventh. Eli Christensen doubled to right off left-handed starter Brad Mills, who was then pulled for the right-handed Mike Colla. After taking third on Landon Hernandez's sacrifice, Christensen scored on Vinnie Catricala's double down the left field line. Catricala took third when Jorge Franco reached on a chop single to short. Derek DuPree followed with a ground single to left-center to score Catricala to make it 2-0 and send Franco to second.

Colla was then lifted for another right-hander in Jason Stoffel. Jon Hee's ground out to first with the runners going with the pitch advanced Franco to third and DuPree to second to set up Justin Frash's two-run single to second in which he took second on the throw home. Frash took third on a wild pitch before Brandon Haislet walked. But Kris Sanchez grounded out to second to end the inning.
