Assault on MP reported at 'Army Beach' in Wai'anae

Police were called to "Army Beach" in Wai'anae at about 12:30 a.m. today to help look for a man who assaulted a military police officer at the beach.The MP approached the alleged assailant to question him and was "false-cracked" by the man, police said.
The suspect was last seen running toward some bushes at the beach.
